Max Turned 1 on wed. sept 23, and i can't believe he is already 1! This year didn't go by too fast as they do with most only because of all the traveling and surgeries etc., soon to follow ( and when i say soon i mean within like a week or so) is a ode to Max of his first year of life and all he he has gone through! Anyway so we started off the day like any other day waking up eating breakfast going for our morning walk! Then we went to get the mail and there was a package for Max from Grandma Jones! And the birthday celebration begins!
He Got the cutest Sweatshirt and Book from Grandma and Grampy! The sweatshirt reads "Cameron Dragon (in Training) "which is Pauls old high school and Mascot!
And the Book is titled " I Love you Through and Through" Such a cute book!Thanks Grandma Jones Max loves it and he looks so cute in his sweatshirt!
Then we all went to dinner well mom, dad, paul, max and myself and when we got back to my parents house my dad, being the great grandpa that he is had the whole house decorated just for my little boy!
He had these streamer things hanging everywhere so max could play with them. He is the best dad and grandpa ever i love him so much and Max can't get enough of him! Thanks dad your the best!
My Mom thought it was ridiculous, but i thought is was so thoughtful and cute and a bit on the funny side!
dad had bought noise makers and a little cake and balloons and a sign and the whole caboodle! it was Fabulous!
Max sitting on all his loot playing with a noise maker we tried to show him how to do it but he just blew snot out his nose instead of blowing out of his mouth! Go figure!
He looks like he is saying "HUH i don't get it, how do i make it make noise?" he is so stinkin cute!
His first Present was from mommy and daddy and it was a ginormous dump truck!
He can ride it or walk behind it and it makes all sorts of noises he loves it!
He then scored with a huge play house set from grandma and grandpa that i love cuz it is so easy to put up and take down! He played with it all day the day after his birthday!
And he got a booster chair which is more a present for me then him i was so excited!
And a piano xylaphone combo which of course he also loves. it makes lots of noise what isn't their to love?

Paul was so excited to give him this truck he couldn't wait to play with it with him, he wanted to give it to him the day he bought it and was a little sad i wouldn't let him!
This truck is helping him learn how to walk he will be doing all on his own so soon!
After presents we had birthday cake! Max got his own cake! (I know the candle is backward but when it faced him it was no longer backward!)
Wondering why i am letting him do this i am sure, he poked around for a few minutes til he realized what he could do and that i was going to let him do whatever he wanted with it!

These are my favorites he loved every second of it and just shoved in mouthful after mouthful he is so adorable!
And then we got cleaned up!
We said Good night to Grandma and Grandpa and thanked them for everything and went home! Paul and i are so grateful that max has such wonderful granparents on both sides and wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins that love him so much. we are also so thankful for Max and the wonderful son he is. He has brought such joy into our lives and has been such a great child especially for all he has had to endure this past year. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives watching him grow to be all the things he has the potential to be, and it is beacuse of all of his family whom i hope he will take after that i am not worried about how he will turn out! Thanks to everyone for all your love, support and prayers over this last year, we love you all so much! Happy Birthday Max!

Oh my gosh! I am in love with that kid. He is so so so cute. I still can't believe he is one. He is getting to big. I will give him his present when you guys come down in October. Give him kisses and Hugs from his Aunt Jaimee!
aww! SUCH cute pictures! Looks like a day of WAY too much fun :) That kid is so dang cute, he's going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up :)
