Okay so this a random post but i was being lazy and only felt like making one post! so at the bottom is the portion on Haiti so please go to the link i hope my friends the fowler fam. don't mind me leading people to their blog but it was just so inspiring to me i had to spread it around. Anyway so we got a ton of snow in page this last weekend!! It was so much fun and so random! Max loved it and had a blast he was so mad when i made him come inside cuz he was frozen! so here are the pictures from our snow filled fun filled weekend!
Below is Max filling up on cheerios before we headed out to the snow... you know you can't play in the snow on an empty stomach! Grandma Jones he loves your hat it is the only one he would keep on his head! To bad the Chargers threw the game huh!

In Grandma and Grandpa Grahams backyard after the first snowfall had been on the ground for a while!

He wasn't sure what to think when he first started walking in it. It took him a minute to decide that snow was okay and a lot of fun!

So cute!

Those of you who read my blog regularly are aware of the "So Big" face!

I think he is just about the cutest little boy in the whole world, how do you not just fall in love with this face!!! He was having so much fun!!!

And the Second snow began to fall sometime Later! We were scared we were going to miss it so i didn't bundle him all up like the first time until we realized it was going to keep coming down for a while! So here he is trying to catch some snow in his mouth!

Snow falling in my parents backyard!

I am so gald he loves to be outside and he is such a happy boy!

My little man and me in the snow!

Look at how hard it is coming down and I couldn't get him to come inside for anything, not even food!

Catching more snowflakes with his mouth!

First time on a sled! We decided she should bundle him up again it was getting cold!

It was to cold to go up the street to the elementary school so we decided to try it in Grandma and Grandpa's front yard it didn't work so well but he still loved it!

And that ends the day of snow in Page it is all melted now not even a day later which if you have ever lived here should come as no surprise to you, but it was fun while it lasted and Max had a blast so that is all that matters! we did take him sledding on the big hill at the elementary school down the street on saturday when paul got home from work which he loved even more but we forgot the camera!
Okay on to my post on Haiti! I have never met the people whose blog I am going to link you to only spoken to her, her name is Anna Fowler and her son was born with a cleft like Max and we were both involved in a support group for parents with cleft children. So I look at her blog every now and then to see how they are doing and her little boy is older so to check on what Max may have to do later on in life! Anna if you read this I hope it is not wierd and if you don't want me to put this on here or are offended in anyway let me know and it will be off of my blog soon after! anyway Anna's dad is a Doctor and she writes about not only what a wonderful man he is but what a big heart he has. He has gone over to Haiti to help and has called and given them updates every so often. I am doing a horrible job at describing just how influential her posts about her dad are and his experiences over there are so here are the links, and you can read them yourselves. Here is her first post!
http://fowlerfam.blogspot.com/2010/01/dad-in-haiti.html and the second post is here.....
http://fowlerfam.blogspot.com/2010/01/more-updates-from-haiti-121-123.html !!! ( i don't know how to do a link where you just write the words "Click Here" and it takes you to the link sorry) I wish there was something I could do wether, if I had any medical background I would be there in a heartbeat! But i think if i went now i would just be in the way and also not be able to help because i would be such and emotional wreck! I cried and cried reading these and felt so helpless! I called my sister Jaimee and read them to her and we cried together, both of our hearts went out to the people of Haiti but it tugged a little bit more at my heart and I am sure hers as well for those children who have lost their whole entire families. Jaimee has just adopted a little girl from the states and we both just want to fly to Haiti and pick up a few kids to bring back with us to our homes who no longer have a home to go to. I have done some research on this including asking Anna to have her dad bring a child or two back to the states but I have found if you don't already have an adoption in the process for a child from Haiti it is going to be tough, but I am determined to see what more I can do! My Mom and I decided that they should just bring a plane full of children back to the states for us to take care of, there are so many wonderful people that would love to help, but then you also have those psychos that are the reason for this not to be possible! Anyway I think a little Haitian boy or girl would fit in well with the Jones family! I hope you are as inspired and moved by Anna's dad and his stories as I was. Let me know what you thought! and please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers!
