Ho Ho Ho Has Come and Gone!!!

Well another christmas has come and gone. sorry it took my a few days to get our christmas pictures up. but here they are. we had such a wonderful first christmas as our new little family together. Of course Max didn't care much but Brooklyn was so much fun to have their on christmas morning and our traditional christmas eve family night and dinner was delicious and uplifting as always.

Christmas is here Again, Stand up and cheer again!!

Paul, Max and I went to Phoenix this past week for another doctor appointment for Max and we had such a wonderful time! We got to see Jessica and Jaimee and Brooklyn and go see the Lights at Mesa Temple which were gorgeous! they had a magnificent manger scene that Paul and i both felt the spirit at! Christmas is such a wonderful time to ponder on all the miracles that have happened on this earth, (i.e. Christ's birth)! We had such a good time Max Loved looking at all the lights and we met a very interesting and motivated missionary who i think scared Jessica and her boyfriend just a bit!

Paul and I before his work Christmas party, it was a lot of fun better than any other year we have gone, but that is only because my amazing husband was in charge and did an absoloutly fantastic job! Everyone had a good time, i think it is because alcohol was allowed this year that everyone thought it was better than previous years as well, needless to say Paul and I were one of the few sober people there and it was definitly interesting!

Another shot of the Cute Couple i love him so so much he is such a great man and sometime i feel like i don't say it enough so i want everyone who reads my blog to know how much i adore my husband and admire him! i hope to be as levelheaded, loving, kind, hardworking, and fun as he is one day, oh and don't forget skinny as well but that one probably will never happen!

Winter is here isn't it beautiful! i love the snow and everything that comes with it! most of these pictures are taken in Flagstaff, but some are taken in Page as well believe it or not!

My Favorite place in the world after i took this picture i put Max to bed and sat on my couch with all my blinds open sipping hot chocolate and listening to Roger Whitakers Christmas album (Darcy the Dragon) for my family who knows! All i could think was it doesn't get any better than this, well if Paul would have been there with me it would have made it better, but it was still the best night ever!

Roll Over

My little boy is growing so fast, he rolled over a few days ago for the first time! (i think it was by accident but he still did it so i am excited) i can't believe how much he has grown since his surgery he is becoming his own person instead of just a baby! i am sorry i didnt get a video or picture of him rolling over but it all happened so fast and he hasn't done it again since(which is my reasonig for thinking it was a fluke) but as soon as he does it again you better believe there will be pictures galore! i am such a proud mama if you can't tell!

Musically Inclined

Okay this picture has nothing to do with this post or the story I am about to tell but i needed a picture of my hubby on here to tell the story and I just happen to stumble upon this one i took in a Ross before we were married and thought it went along well because of his sillyness in the story!


STORY: So i was laying in bed the other night and kind of asleep but not quite and watching television.... My Husband being the wonderful man and father that he is was giving Max a bath. I hear him talking to him which he does often but i was curious what kind of things he says to him when he thinks i am not listening so i quietly turned down the volume on the tv and began to eavesdrop. To My surprise this is what i heard and mind you he is singing this.... "Wash your Head, Wash your neck, Wash your ear, Wash your rear!! Followed by a bit of laughter from him of course and me silently in the other room. He then proceeded on a new son similar to the latter that went something like this... "Wash your hair, Wash your leg, Wash your butt, Wash your Nut!" (sorry if this offends anyone) at which that point i burst out into laughter as he walks in the bedroom so excited to tell me his new songs he made up!! i Live for moment like these with my husband and baby boy, i love them so much and Paul is such a fun dad and pretty hot in a daffy duck sweater if i do say so myself!!

HO HO HO!!!

WE had our ward Christmas Party on Tuesday night and of course Santa Showed up and we had to get a picture of Max's first encounter with Saint Nick himself and a family picture that may be Christams Card worthy what do you think?


My little Elf and Santa!!!He was so good he just sat the oblivious to what was going on i am sure he just though oh great another person wants to hold me because i am so adorable because he was passed around all night long!! i think if he could talk he would have asked santa for his mom to just let him stay in his car seat and sleep!!

We were lucky enough to have family here for Thanksgiving and it was a blast. I am so thankful that our family is so close and Max is so loved! His cousins were so excited to see him for the first time!!!

Max Update

Max had his two month appointment today!! It was so sad to see him get his shots but he was such a little stud about it. Anyway he now weighs all of 10 lbs. 4 oz. and is 23.5 inches long. Tomorrow we go to the craniofacial orthodontist and get his special retainer to wear until his official surgery date which was set two days ago for January 16th, 2009 at 8:20 A.M.! We are so nervous but so excited for him at the same time. I almost don't want him to have the surgery because he is so adorable the way he is, and his smile is so unique and different. But it will be for the best and he will be equally as handsome when the surgery is over and done with as he is right now.

Brooklyn loves her cousin Max and he returns that love 100%! She was so excited to see him today all she wanted to do was hold him. I am so glad Max has an extended family that loves him so much, and a cousin like Brooklyn who gets so excited to see him.
