Sorry i know it's late but here is my Mothers Day post!!!

Okay so sorry this is so late but i figured better late than never right? my mothers day was not very exciting at all Paul had to work my and my parents were driving home from Boise and didn't get home til late that night. Even though i was all alone with Max it was so nice to have my first mothers day with him and it gave me time to understand what Mothers day is all about. I am so lucky to have Max and Paul in my life and so thankful that i get to raise Max with Paul by my side to raise him to have a testimony of the gospel and to treat others with kindness and for all the other spectacular choices we have as parents in raising our children our own special way! Parenthood is such a wonderful amazing gift and even though it is often hard it is so worth it i love Max with all my heart and i look forward to the mothers days to come with him as my son!

Anyway when i went up to the fire station to give Paul a hug and a kiss good night on mothers day, being the wonderful husband he is he surprised me with the card pictured above. He is so creative and adorable. He made this card all by himself and even thought about it ahead of time by taking the picture a day or two prior to mothers day. This card was the best gift ever it is a home-made pop-up card that when you open it Max's adorable picture pops out at you and it depict Max's personality so well with his finger in his mouth and all. Thank you Paul for being so wonderful and Max for being so adorable and loveable. I loved my Mothers day card and it was the best first mothers day ever! Hope everyone else had a grand one too!!! P.S My Mom is fantastic and one of my best friends i could not imagine not being so close with her and talking to her often she is so wise and knowledgable i look up to her in so many ways and thank God every day that i was able to have parents as wonderful as mine! ( i would have felt horrible if i had not said something about my mom in this post)

Boise Idaho We Came We Saw We Had So Much Fun!!!

I went to Boise a week or so ago for Shawnacy's graduation and i have to give my sister props she finally finished school and she did it all with 4 kids a husband a new house and working a little here and there. Shawnacy we love you and are so proud of you, we are excited that we get to see and hear from you more this year and forever (well until you go back to get your masters)!
Anyway the few days in Boise were a blast. During our last trip to Boise upon returning Lindsay took the liberty of posting the highlights of the trip which were rather hillarious, but now it is my turn to take a crack at it!
(these are not in any particular order)

1-Jaimee saying "what happened to Max's Lip"

2- Akemi "I don't know if the heater works in your new truck dad, when you were inside it got to hot in here so i had to turn it off!"

3- Both Jaimee and myself not buckling in eachothers children on the way to and from Shawnacy's graduation!

4- Dad pushing Max's stroller into the huge puddle than while running after it his pants falling down and him trying to pull them up and save my son at the same time!

5- Ethan pooping his pants and asking everyone not to tell his mom

6-While house hunting Russ saying " I am so good with dogs they love me" then bending down to get to the dogs level and saying " Hi puppy come here boy" followed by the dog lunging toward him and growling and Russ almost falling over trying to get away!

7-Russ being pulled on the long board and a neighbor driving by and Russ says " Yeah, Hi am 37 and being pulled on a long board!"

8-My Pants ripping while playing chicken with Jaimee on the Monkey bars, and also Lindsay kicking Brandons butt at chicken on the monkey bars.

9-Jaimee and Lindsay's Most intelligent conversation about wether or not to make a smoothie before leaving for Salt Lake or grab something on the way!

Anyway it was a fun few days and this brings us to the end of my list and the beginning of the pictures!

My Niece McKensey is a stud at basketball, she takes after her Aunts and we couldn't be more proud of her! I have been waiting forever to get to see her play and i finally did and she Rocked! Kens i love you keep it up you will always be my All- Star!!

Max and his Cousin Ethan who is so cute with him and so fun to be around. Hopefully sooner rather than later we will be around him a lot more often!!!

I have another new trick!!!

Okay so i know i should totally be in bed right now, but i just have not had peace and quiet all day and with Paul being at work i decided to pull a late night and play around with stuff that i like to do. ie. messing around with pictures on the computer, drawing some art to make new pictures for my walls etc. i am totally determined to become artsy fartsy and be good at it. i am teaching myself so it will be long process but it will happen! Anyway here is my new trick. I learned how to change my hair color on this program i have, no it is not photoshop but similar( same program i do the black and white photos with the selective colorization on). I tried out all different colors like hot pink adding red streaks, going goth etc. and this one was the most practical i can't decide if i really look good as a brunette or not so help me out (not that i will ever go brunette because blondes really do have more fun) i didn't save the picture where i had one big chunk of hot pink in the front but i kinda liked that one as well, it made me feel kinda punkish and daring which are two things i have always wanted to be but never have been. Anyway so i am working on exploring my different sides let me know what you think and if you have any other hair colors you would like to see on me let me know or even if you would like to see what one would look like on yourself i would do it for you! (P.S. excuse the red eye i was to lazy to redo the whole picture just to get rid of it when i forgot the first time)
