Sorry i know it's late but here is my Mothers Day post!!!

Okay so sorry this is so late but i figured better late than never right? my mothers day was not very exciting at all Paul had to work my and my parents were driving home from Boise and didn't get home til late that night. Even though i was all alone with Max it was so nice to have my first mothers day with him and it gave me time to understand what Mothers day is all about. I am so lucky to have Max and Paul in my life and so thankful that i get to raise Max with Paul by my side to raise him to have a testimony of the gospel and to treat others with kindness and for all the other spectacular choices we have as parents in raising our children our own special way! Parenthood is such a wonderful amazing gift and even though it is often hard it is so worth it i love Max with all my heart and i look forward to the mothers days to come with him as my son!

Anyway when i went up to the fire station to give Paul a hug and a kiss good night on mothers day, being the wonderful husband he is he surprised me with the card pictured above. He is so creative and adorable. He made this card all by himself and even thought about it ahead of time by taking the picture a day or two prior to mothers day. This card was the best gift ever it is a home-made pop-up card that when you open it Max's adorable picture pops out at you and it depict Max's personality so well with his finger in his mouth and all. Thank you Paul for being so wonderful and Max for being so adorable and loveable. I loved my Mothers day card and it was the best first mothers day ever! Hope everyone else had a grand one too!!! P.S My Mom is fantastic and one of my best friends i could not imagine not being so close with her and talking to her often she is so wise and knowledgable i look up to her in so many ways and thank God every day that i was able to have parents as wonderful as mine! ( i would have felt horrible if i had not said something about my mom in this post)

Boise Idaho We Came We Saw We Had So Much Fun!!!

I went to Boise a week or so ago for Shawnacy's graduation and i have to give my sister props she finally finished school and she did it all with 4 kids a husband a new house and working a little here and there. Shawnacy we love you and are so proud of you, we are excited that we get to see and hear from you more this year and forever (well until you go back to get your masters)!
Anyway the few days in Boise were a blast. During our last trip to Boise upon returning Lindsay took the liberty of posting the highlights of the trip which were rather hillarious, but now it is my turn to take a crack at it!
(these are not in any particular order)

1-Jaimee saying "what happened to Max's Lip"

2- Akemi "I don't know if the heater works in your new truck dad, when you were inside it got to hot in here so i had to turn it off!"

3- Both Jaimee and myself not buckling in eachothers children on the way to and from Shawnacy's graduation!

4- Dad pushing Max's stroller into the huge puddle than while running after it his pants falling down and him trying to pull them up and save my son at the same time!

5- Ethan pooping his pants and asking everyone not to tell his mom

6-While house hunting Russ saying " I am so good with dogs they love me" then bending down to get to the dogs level and saying " Hi puppy come here boy" followed by the dog lunging toward him and growling and Russ almost falling over trying to get away!

7-Russ being pulled on the long board and a neighbor driving by and Russ says " Yeah, Hi am 37 and being pulled on a long board!"

8-My Pants ripping while playing chicken with Jaimee on the Monkey bars, and also Lindsay kicking Brandons butt at chicken on the monkey bars.

9-Jaimee and Lindsay's Most intelligent conversation about wether or not to make a smoothie before leaving for Salt Lake or grab something on the way!

Anyway it was a fun few days and this brings us to the end of my list and the beginning of the pictures!

My Niece McKensey is a stud at basketball, she takes after her Aunts and we couldn't be more proud of her! I have been waiting forever to get to see her play and i finally did and she Rocked! Kens i love you keep it up you will always be my All- Star!!

I have another new trick!!!

Okay so i know i should totally be in bed right now, but i just have not had peace and quiet all day and with Paul being at work i decided to pull a late night and play around with stuff that i like to do. ie. messing around with pictures on the computer, drawing some art to make new pictures for my walls etc. i am totally determined to become artsy fartsy and be good at it. i am teaching myself so it will be long process but it will happen! Anyway here is my new trick. I learned how to change my hair color on this program i have, no it is not photoshop but similar( same program i do the black and white photos with the selective colorization on). I tried out all different colors like hot pink adding red streaks, going goth etc. and this one was the most practical i can't decide if i really look good as a brunette or not so help me out (not that i will ever go brunette because blondes really do have more fun) i didn't save the picture where i had one big chunk of hot pink in the front but i kinda liked that one as well, it made me feel kinda punkish and daring which are two things i have always wanted to be but never have been. Anyway so i am working on exploring my different sides let me know what you think and if you have any other hair colors you would like to see on me let me know or even if you would like to see what one would look like on yourself i would do it for you! (P.S. excuse the red eye i was to lazy to redo the whole picture just to get rid of it when i forgot the first time)

My New Trick & Max Update!!!

I learned a new trick seen below are pictures that i made black and white then i added a splash of color i am doing it with a lot of our wedding photos too nd they look fantastic! i love to learn new fun things and decorate my house with them, anyway if you want to know how just ask i like to teach new things too!

More Cuteness!

I love his little mohawk and his huge smile he laughs all the time even if there us nothing to laugh at! i wish i could be a kid again i know he has no clue but he is not self concious of any of his problems i.e. his lis, his palate and his excema(spell check) he will open his mouth so wide and before his surgery didn;t even know his lip existed. anyway the point of that comment was i wsh i could be fearless about my body and be less self conscious and not worry if anyone is thinking look at her what is she thinking doing that/wearing that/saying that! But Max's flaws are so much more adorable and loveable than my own so i guess there is really no comparison there!

I just wish i knew what he was thinking in this picture! i can only imagine in a year from now what he will be saying to me when i a snapping photos of him 24/7!

So Paul went to st. george a few weekends ago and stopped by to see his sister, she gave him this jumper that was his when he was a baby! Thanks Helena Max loves it! Well Paul brought it home and could not wait to let Max give it a try! He hasn't quite figured out how to use it yet but he sure does look cute trying!

Adventures With Max!!!

Before we begin this is my third post today so be sure to check out the next two posts before this one!
We are now trying to get Max to eat solid foods. The first time went fantastic we gave him peaches and he loved it so i tried rice cereal tonight and every night since and it has been nothing short of a disaster. I feel so bad for him he tries so hard but to no avail!


If you will look to his nose, most of it just come straight back out of his mouth because he does not like rice cereal but some comes out his nose as well, It does that a lot with his formula so i am used to it but it is so much more sad when it is actual food dripping out of his nostril. Poor kid i bet he can't wait til May when he will be able to eat and not have snot in his food. On the bright side maybe when he gets older he will be able to do cool tricks for his friends!

Yeah if you can't tell he doesn't like it he just looks at me like..... are you kidding me with this crap mom! ha ha he doesn't even really spit it out he lets me put it in his mouth then he just lets it sit there until i take a rag and wipe it out! ( and if you will look past the adorable baby you will see the picture on the screen of my TV) That is right you got it Twilight came out on saturday, and that is Alice on my tv screen playing baseball (my favorite scene of the whole movie by the way) yipee now i can watch my beloved twilight characters from the comfort of my own home i was camping saturday morning but i made sure my amazing friend Jill picked it up for me early saturday thank you Jill i owe you one! Anyway i was so excited i watched it today snuggled on the couch with my little boy! Fantastic movie my favorite movie at the moment by far....that is until New Moon comes out!

We took Max on his first trip to the park he loved the swings but by the time we were done with those it was dinner time and the park wasn't so interesting to him anymore!

After the Park we went to grandmas and grandpas and tried our first taste of baby food. it was peaches and he loved them! they came out his nose and were all over his face but if that isn;t a sign of love i don't know what is!

2nd Anniversary!!!

It was Our second anniversary on St. Patty's Day Paul had to work so we decided to celebrate it that weekend! When Paul came home wednesday morning the day after our real anniversary he made me breakfast in the hour and a half slot he had until he had to go to a training thing for work! he is so sweet! i Love him so much, he also told me we would be going camping on the lake this weekend for our anniversary so here are the picture of our week as a family who is in it for the long haul! Now that we hit the two year mark i think things are starting to look up, we are getting along better and spending more time together and just loving each other more in general!

Paul Pre-made fantastic tin-foil dinners for us and he cooked them over the fire himself it was too dark to see so he wore this attractive head lamp to see with, and followed by making some joke about how he was wearing a head light ha ha get it head light like on a car but it is really on his head! ha ha yeah that is what i said! i am afraid i married my dad!

Okay so Max truly takes after his father in the freek department! Paul is a really touchy feely kinda guy and Max is the same way i am afraid! he absoloutly loves to be kissed on the cheek and will let you kiss him repeatedly for 45 minutes if you would. It is honestly the weirdest cutest thing i have ever seen, and if you stop kissing one cheek he turns his head to you can kiss the other one repeatedly, sometime it is the only thing that will calm him down. Anyway so the above picture is of Paul and i kissing max's cheeks when he woke up on our camping trip!

A Months Worth of Max in one Post!!!

Sorry i know it has been almost a month since my last post or maybe more than a month but i am making up for it hopefully in this one and the next. Max is growing bigger by the second! And yes these photos are in chronological order with this first photo being the most recentish. (i don't know if that is a word or not bit if it isn't i just made it one) Anyway as i was saying max is getting so big, he rolls all over the place, tries his hardest to sit up on his own and wants to crawl ever so badly but is not quite there yet, maybe in the next few weeks. I told Paul the other day though, i don't want him to crawl because then i have to baby proof my house! Anyway as you can tell by these picture Max thinks he is pretty fancy and i do have to agree with him. I think getting his cleft fixed boosted his self confidence even though he had nothing to be ashamed of before!

Paul and I were going for a walk the other day and i pulled out this hat that My cousin Vicki Gubbles gave to Max so this picture is for her benefit. Thank you so Much, Max and myself can't wait to meet you!

Paul Came home the other day and caught me and Max asleep in my bed, Paul had been at work all night and needless to say it was probably a long night for both of us. But he thought we were cute so decided to snap these few photos!

Max was just being incredibly adorable and i bought him this new shirt because it is beginning to look like summer and he has no short sleeved clothes. Anyway i thought his eyes looked especially stunning in this color and i loved the saying on it!

He gets so excited sometimes for no reason and just kicks and moves and squeals it is the cutest thing ever!

He has finally found his feet, i can't get him to let go of them anymore he loves to grab them, eat them, go crosseyed looking at them, and play this little piggy with grandma!

He is so happy and smiley all the time i love it his laugh is so original and adorable! hopefully i will be able to catch it on video some day soon and then figure out how to get it on here. i think with Page being so secluded youtube and every other video place cannot function in such a remote place! HA HA you guys think i am kidding!
